Whether frying, roasting, grilling, baking or sautéing, the pre-seasoned cast iron skillet from Navaris lets you enjoy a better cooking experience and better results with outstanding retention of heat.
- Hand wash only. Use a sponge and avoid using abrasive pads. To remove food particles, add grain salt to warm pan, scrub and rinse.
- Dry well with a cloth after cleaning and place briefly on low heat. Once fully dry, rub a small amount of vegetable or canola oil into the surface. Place on stove for 5-10 minutes and allow to cool fully in a safe place away from children.
- Seasoning helps prevent rust. Place a tray covered with aluminum foil on bottom oven shelf. Place pan on top oven shelf and heat 10 minutes. Take out and rub a small amount of vegetable or canola oil into surface with a paper towel. Place pan back on top oven shelf for another 10 minutes. Then turn pan upside down to let any excess oil drip off onto aluminum foil below. Bake pan for 1 hour, remove and allow to cool in a safe area.
